Ragnar Dobson is the mastermind composer, producer, and raw vocal power behind the resurgence of dark, cinematic Nordic folk. Guided by the ancient echoes of the longhall, his compositions bridge the gap between traditional instrumentation and modern epic orchestration. From the sweeping, multi-part mythological sagas of Astrid & The Barrow-King to the crushing battle anthems found inside his master debut album Echoes From Valhalla, every single track features Dobson’s 100% real human vocal cords, live-tracked poetry, and authentic creative craft. Operating independently under the banner of Valhalla Records.
